One of a Civil Engineer's tasks in oil refinery construction projects is designing all the steel structures in the plant, such as Pipe Racks, Warehouses, Shelters, Heavy Equipment Structures and more.

This OJT trains participants to design one of the most common structures in an oil refinery, the Steel Pipe Rack, according to the design standards & specifications used in oil & gas projects. The design is carried out with STAAD PRO, the software commonly used in oil & gas projects.

The skills gained in this OJT can be applied to design other structures in the refinery area.
