One of a Civil Engineer's tasks in oil refinery construction projects is designing the foundations for all process equipment in the plant, such as Distillation Towers, Heat Exchangers, Storage Tanks and more.

This OJT trains participants to design the 3 most common equipment foundations in an oil refinery, namely Vertical Vessel Foundations, Horizontal Vessel Foundations & Storage Tank Foundations, according to the design standards & specifications used in oil & gas projects. The design is carried out with AFES, the software commonly used in oil & gas projects.
